Day by day
You will be picked up from the hotel in the morning and the journey continues via Mombasa towards Nairobi, approx. 160 km to the entrance gate of the national park. This is where the Tsavo East adventure begins!
Red earth, natural paths, bush savannah and the first wild animals give the impression of real Africa. We head for the scenic Kanderi Swamp. The red elephants and herds of buffalo regularly move here to drink. There is also a pride of lions there!
You will have lunch at the Voi Safari Lodge. From there you have a spectacular view down to the red expanse of the park and watering holes.
After our lunch break, we continue our journey and, as part of our game drive, cross over to the Taita Hills Conservation Area.
In the late afternoon you will reach the Sarova Salt Lick Lodge, where you will settle in, look around and then be expected for dinner.
At daybreak, after a quick cup of coffee/tea, we set off for an early game hunt so as not to miss the exciting time of the animal hunters. The good breakfast afterwards leaves nothing to be desired! Another round of game viewing follows until lunch at Taita Hills Lodge.
Strengthened and full of fulfilling impressions, you will then be brought back to your hotel/cottage on the coast.
